On Sunday May 19, 2024 at 8pm EDT,USA) (Monday 20, May, 2024, 10am AEST) the ACU Centre for Liturgy is delighted to host Mr. Steven C Warner for a public lecture on the topic: “The Ageless Voice of the Young: Fostering Emerging Liturgical Musicians.”
In this live online public lecture, renowned choir director, liturgical music composer and performer Steve Warner, founder and emeritus director of the Notre Dame Folk Choir, will share some of his wisdom and vast experience working with and nurturing young musicians to become leaders of liturgical music. He will explore why it is important to encourage young musicians’ spiritual development through liturgical musical expression to foster more engaged and lasting ecclesial participation as they develop their relationship with Christ.
