February 14, 2021: Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time (Year B)

Neither of the Communion antiphons suggested for this Sunday ties in with the First Reading and Gospel, which focus on healing from leprosy. The Collegeville Composers, therefore, devised a new antiphon based on the plea of the leper to Jesus. In Communion, we ask the Lord not only for healing but for the saving food of life.

The psalm verses are from Psalm 103, as suggested in the Antiphonary, giving thanks to God who heals every one of our ills and fills our life with good things.
