Ars Prædicandi: Anthony Ruff on the Dishonest Steward (25C)

The background for my little modern day parable which would be familiar to the listeners is that the University of St. Thomas in the Twin Cities, arch-rival of St. John’s in football, was recently pushed out of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, over the objections of St. John’s, reportedly because their history of pummeling other teams. Also in the background is that St. John’s recently beat the football team of a Benedictine school, St. Scholastica, 98-0. St. John’s let 98 guys suit up this year.
