Digital Medieval Studies Institute (DMSI) 2024, Late Call for Applications from the Midwest

As a collaborative effort between the University of Notre Dame, Digital Medievalist, and the Medieval Academy of America, a one-day workshop in digital scholarly methods will be held on 13 March 2024 at the University of Notre Dame, in conjunction with the annual MAA meeting.

DMSI 2024 is tailored especially to medievalists, their sources, and their scholarly concerns and will feature established approaches in digital medieval studies. During the day, five separate day-long workshops will be offered accompanied by two sessions of lightning talks, followed by a social hour.

Further information available on Digital Medievalist and Medieval Academy of America websites.

Applications are accepted online. For this late call, we especially encourage graduate students and early career scholars based in the Midwest to apply. Remaining few spots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until 1 March 2024. There are bursaries available in the form of tuition waivers.

Please note that you do not need to attend MAA 2024 in order to participate in DMSI 2024. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the organizers, N. Kıvılcım Yavuz or Laura K. Morreale.
