Reptile “virgin birth”??

Just to be clear, this should be categorized as “wit” — but I thought a reptilian virgin birth might interest this crowd.

This boa constrictor gave birth to two litters of baby snakes who have only her chromosomes.

    nerdy factoid: I did undergraduate research on parthenogenesis in Daphnia (a zooplankton) populations in temporary wetlands – who knew it would lead to studying theology these many years later.
