A wonderful introit in the 6th Gregorian mode. It has gravitas and saturation, it is an expression of inner peace. Great to know that Jewish and Christian teachers made this experience at the end of a long way, on which they meditated the Holy Scripture, God’s law and wisdom. Nobody says that faith is easy and free from temptation, but eventually there is – to say it with a wink – Gregorian Chant in the 6th mode.
