Saint John’s University mentioned at Forbes.com

In a recent article at forbes.com, August Turak talks about his sabbatical at Saint John’s University in Collegeville, MN.

In 2002 I decided to take a sabbatical. So I headed off to Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota as a novice grad student in theology. I had not been part of a formal class since 1978, and I was frankly scared to death. Instead, the next four months turned into one of the most meaningful, exciting, and pivotal adventures of my life; an adventure that would change my career and my life forever.

Collegeville, MN is a mystical place. I am just glad that the news of its life-changing effects is spreading!

So if you need a sabbatical, check out the Collegeville Institute. We would be glad to have you!

I never studied at SJU, but am fond of visiting. The surrounding natural environment depicts God’s majesty: I like to chant Psalm 104 when I drive back to the Twin Cities.
